About Bardiglio
Bardiglio is a distinguished Italian marble quarried from the historic Apuan Alps in Tuscany, the same region famous for Carrara white. Known as the gray marble par excellence, it features a sophisticated palette ranging from cool blue-grey to deep charcoal, often accented by a cloudy movement or crisp white veining. Its fine-grained, saccharoidal structure makes it exceptionally durable and versatile for luxury flooring, wall cladding, and sophisticated bathroom vanities. Interestingly, its name originates from the Spanish word pardillo, meaning greyish. While many associate these mountains solely with pure white stone, the graphite enrichments in Bardiglio provide a moody, elegant contrast that has been utilized in architecture since the Roman era.
