About Navona

Navona Travertine is a prestigious Italian stone extracted from the historic Roman quarry basin near Tivoli. Characterized by a warm beige to ivory background, it features a sophisticated, homogeneous texture with delicate linear or cloudy striations. This sedimentary rock is formed by the precipitation of calcium carbonate from mineral springs, resulting in the unique porous structure and "pitted" surface that defines authentic travertine. Celebrated for its structural depth and durability, Navona has been a cornerstone of Roman architecture for millennia; it was famously used to construct its namesake, the Piazza Navona. Its timeless, neutral palette and natural slip resistance make it a premier choice for luxury flooring, facades, and high-end interiors.
