Ivory Macaubas, also known as Chantilly, is an exquisite natural quartzite quarried from the rich bedrock of Brazil. This metamorphic stone is defined by its sophisticated creamy white to soft gray background, elegantly traversed by striking horizontal veins in charcoal and deep gray. Renowned for its superior hardness and durability, it offers the high-end aesthetic of marble while providing the resilience of granite, making it nearly impervious to scratches and heat. Interestingly, because of its unique linear flow, slabs are frequently book-matched to create a seamless, mirrored masterpiece. During production, a specialized resin is often applied to ensure its refined, glass-like finish remains flawlessly smooth.
