The Artisan Group: Masters of Countertop Craftsmanship

The Artisan Group is a network of over 35 distinguished North American countertop professionals. As some of the first granite fabricators in the world to be fully accredited by the Marble Institute of America, every member has demonstrated their commitment to quality, safety, and service. The Artisan Group’s dedication to their craft has earned them the highest level of fabrication credentials in the industry.

While the Artisan Group is a national network, its members utilize global sources to provide only the finest natural stone and wood surfaces. Every installation employs state-of-the-art technologies and facilities. These accomplished artisans are trusted by countless customers for their consistency and skill — recognition earned through decades of collective experience.

Architectural Surfaces’ Role in the Artisan Group

The Artisan Group, formerly known as the Granite Buyers Club, was founded in 2007 by AG&M (Architectural Granite & Marble) with the purpose of connecting industry professionals with customers across the country. Today, Architectural Surfaces’ Marketing team plays a key role in planning and organizing several events throughout the year to support the group’s marketing and collaboration efforts.

Annual Artisan Group Events

  • Spring – Artisan Industry Showcase (Austin, TX): Members gather for two days of meetings and a mini trade show hosted at the Architectural Surfaces – Austin branch.
  • Summer – Artisan Fishing Trip (Location varies): A relaxed opportunity for members to network and enjoy the outdoors.
  • Summer – Operations Meeting (Location varies): Operations teams connect to discuss industry challenges, tour each other’s facilities, and share best practices.
  • Summer – Sales and Marketing Meeting (Spicewood, TX): Sales and marketing teams exchange insights and strategies to strengthen business development and branding.
  • Fall – Artisan Shop Tour (Location varies): Hosted by a different member each year, attendees tour shops and facilities to learn from one another’s operations.

In addition to supporting the Artisan Group’s marketing and event initiatives, Architectural Surfaces provides material to members across the country. Each member receives products and services through their local Architectural Surfaces branch, supported by a dedicated representative. Members also enjoy additional benefits such as exclusive deals and rebates.

Architectural Surfaces’ ongoing commitment to premium products, deep industry expertise, and partnership-driven service makes them a vital part of the Artisan Group’s success.
