About Calacatta Turquoise

Calacatta Turquoise has an ivory white or pinkish white base that offers a soft and neutral backdrop. Across this surface flow thick streaks of reddish brown and orange brown, creating a bold contrast with a sense of movement. The patterns can resemble flowing water or layered sedimentary rock, giving the stone a natural and dynamic look. This marble is quarried in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany, Italy, specifically between the Altissimo and Carchio mountains in the province of Massa Carrara. That region is known for its long history in marble extraction, and Calacatta Turquoise carries that geologic and craft heritage. The combination of warm earthy veins with the lighter background makes it a versatile choice for interior applications like flooring, wall cladding, and countertops.
