About Acquabela
Acquabela Quartzite is a natural stone quarried in Brazil, prized for its range of translucent sea-glass greens through deep emerald tones. White, light gray, and occasional golden-bronze veins run through the surface, giving each slab a fluid, water-like appearance. That movement makes it a popular pick for high-end kitchen islands and spa-style bathroom vanities.
It's a true hard quartzite — rated 7 on the Mohs scale — so it holds up well against heat, scratches, and acids. The dense crystalline structure adds to its long-term durability.
Where does the green come from? Chromium impurities trapped inside mica minerals deep in Brazilian bedrock. That geological detail is part of what makes each slab slightly different from the next.
