The name Fiorito, meaning flowery, refers to its unique fossiliferous details that provide a non-uniform, organic aesthetic. Renowned for its exceptional density and low water absorption, this durable stone has been used for centuries in prestigious European architecture. Notably, Botticino marble was a favorite of sculptor Antonio Canova and serves as the base for the Statue of Liberty.
