About Calacatta Corchia

Calacatta Corchia is a prestigious Italian marble quarried from the legendary Apuan Alps in Tuscany. Distinguished by its luminous white to off-white background, it features dramatic, brecciated patterns and bold, sweeping veins in shades of charcoal, dove gray, and occasional hints of gold or taupe. This high-contrast aesthetic makes it a preferred choice for statement pieces like waterfall islands and feature walls. Interestingly, while often compared to Arabescato due to its similar "egg-shaped" patterns, Calacatta Corchia is technically a variety within the Arabescato family, specifically sourced from the Monte Corchia area, offering a slightly warmer, more intricate depth.
