Colonial White, also known as Mayfair White, is a distinguished granite quarried in the southern regions of India, specifically within Tamil Nadu. This natural stone is celebrated for its cottony-pale to off-white background, elegantly accented by a blend of smoky gray veining and signature dark burgundy or black mineral spots. Its consistent yet unique grain structure makes it a global favorite for kitchen countertops and sophisticated flooring. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this igneous rock is exceptionally durable and heat-resistant. Interestingly, its name is a nod to the era of the British Empire, and it is sometimes referred to as Platinum White or Indian Bianco Romano.
