Super White Dolomite is a stunning natural stone from the Bahia region of Brazil, celebrated for its luminous white to light grey background and dramatic, smoky grey veining. Although often marketed as a marble due to its sophisticated, high-contrast aesthetic, it is geologically a dolomitic rock, offering superior density and hardness compared to traditional marbles. This makes it a highly durable and less porous choice for high-use areas like kitchen countertops and bathrooms. Interestingly, while it mimics the look of elite Italian stones like Calacatta, its unique mineral composition, including traces of quartz, provides a distinct, "watery" movement that is rare in other stone types.
