About Travertine Platinum And

Travertine Platinum, also known as Tuscany Platinum, is a sophisticated natural stone primarily quarried in Turkey and Italy. It is distinguished by a contemporary palette of silvery-grey, beige, and cream tones, often featuring dramatic parallel veining when vein-cut. This sedimentary rock forms through the rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate in hot springs or limestone caves, resulting in its signature porous texture. These natural voids are frequently filled with resin or cement to enhance durability for high-traffic flooring and wall cladding. Historically, travertine from the Tivoli region was the preferred building material for the Roman Colosseum and St. Peter's Square.
