About Vt Danby
Vt Danby, also known as Vermont Danby, is a prestigious white marble quarried from Dorset Mountain in Vermont, USA. Renowned for its exceptional density and low absorption rate, it is significantly more resistant to staining and moisture than many of its Italian counterparts. This classic stone features a luminous white background accented by elegant, soft gray and occasional gold veining. Historically significant, it has cladd some of America's most iconic landmarks, including the Jefferson Memorial and the U.S. Supreme Court. Interestingly, it is extracted from the world's largest underground marble quarry, which maintains a constant temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.
