Crema Marfil closeup Close Up

Crema Marfil is a world-renowned Spanish marble, primarily extracted from the massive Monte Coto quarry in Alicante. This iconic stone is celebrated for its uniform, creamy beige background accented by subtle, thin veins of white and gold, and occasional fossil remains like nummulites. Technically classified as a bioclastic limestone, its high density and low water absorption make it exceptionally durable for a marble, suitable for high-traffic flooring and grand architectural projects. Interestingly, while it is a staple of modern luxury, the deposits forming these mountains began over 60 million years ago. It remains the global benchmark for neutral, sophisticated natural stone.
