Volakas marble originates from the Falakro Mountain in Northern Greece, specifically the Drama region. Often referred to as the “”Carrara of Greece,”” it features a distinctive white background characterized by soft, grey, or light-brown diagonal veining. Its fine-grained texture and luminous quality make it a preferred choice for interior applications such as flooring, wall cladding, and bathroom surfaces. While softer than some granites, its timeless aesthetic provides a sophisticated atmosphere in both modern and classical architectural designs worldwide.
