Our Leadership

As CEO, Dave is responsible for overall corporate strategy, financial performance, and operations.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, IL, a Master of Science in Finance from UW Madison, and an MBA from Wake Forest. He has approximately 30 years of Finance and Accounting experience. Dave’s career highlights include working for companies such as Grainger, Procter & Gamble, Limited Brands, Wal-Mart, and JC Penney’s, and he has been CFO at Golfsmith, Famous Footwear, NBG Home, and most recently, Hollander Sleep & Décor.

Outside of the office, Dave can be found reading, working out, exploring the outdoors, and watching live music. Dave has five children, three of whom played college football, including two at the D1 level. Dave’s daughter goes to the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin and is an aspiring singer/performer.

Scott serves as Architectural Surfaces’ CAO, responsible for the Company’s legal and compliance functions, as well as the Human Resource group.  Prior to joining Architectural Surfaces, Scott was an attorney at the international law firm of Alston & Bird, LLP where he advised and represented companies in litigation and commercial transactions across the country and internationally.  Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Berry College, cum laude, and graduated the University of Tennessee College of Law, magna cum laude.

Scott resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two daughters.  Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, and mountain biking.

Mr. Brown serves as Architectural Surfaces’ Chief Financial Officer where he is responsible for the financial health and performance of the Company. Prior to joining Architectural Surfaces, Mr. Brown was Chief Financial Officer at Harbor Custom Development where his primary focus was raising capital and providing financial support and oversight of the business. Prior to Harbor, Mr. Brown was Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Select Interior Concepts (SIC), the former owner of Architectural Surfaces. During his time at SIC, Mr. Brown developed the public company accounting and reporting infrastructure, was extensively involved in the diligence and integration for multiple completed acquisitions, assisted with the sale, divestiture, and de-integration of SIC’s largest business unit to a major competitor, and provided significant support for the sale and going private transaction of SIC. Mr. Brown started his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Accountancy from Auburn University. Mr. Brown is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Brown resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching college football (Go Dawgs!), playing tennis and golf, hunting, and fishing.

Everett, our Chief Information & Digital Officer, is responsible for driving the company’s technology & digital strategy.

With an impressive career spanning NBG Home, Silicon Labs, Reed Elsevier, Manugistics, Enron, Compaq Computer, and Sysco, Everett’s expertise is evident. Holding a Finance degree from Loras College, he is a sought-after speaker on digital transformation, supply chain, and technology’s future.

Beyond his professional achievements, Everett is dedicated to community impact, serving nonprofit boards, including Ballet Austin, Austin American Heart Association, and Austin Habitat for Humanity.

Personally, Austin is home to Everett and his wife, Mandy. They relish time with their four adult children, enjoy fitness activities, and find tranquility by the water’s edge.

Cindi comes from the high tech industry and has 30 + years of experience and has held multiple leadership positions in Supply Chain/Demand Planning, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Sales; with multiple years as a General Manager of a $10B division in a Fortune 200 Company.  Cindi has been with Architectural Surfaces for just over one year starting her career in Sales Ops and Marketing, now leading our Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Product Marketing functions.

Cindi holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management.  She is married and has one son.  In her spare time, Cindi volunteers with Special Olympics of Central Texas and various charities associated with women’s health.  She enjoys spending time with family (including her two dogs), travel, adding to her wine collection, and anything related to college football and basketball (especially the TCU Horned Frogs)!

Jesse has 15+ years of experience and has held various leadership roles during the different ownership structures of Architectural Surfaces. Currently focused on Operations with responsibilities that includes safety, facility management, process improvement, leases, equipment acquisition, cost management and M&A diligence. Previous management roles have included Regional VP, Sales Management, and Logistics.

Jesse has a BA and MAHS degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. Jesse is married to his wife Deanna with two children. He enjoys being with family, outside playing sports, hunting, fishing, and exercising.

Gary has been with Architectural Surfaces since 2002. He started his career in the Pental Surfaces Seattle, WA location working in various departments and positions of increasing responsibility, including slab and tile warehouse operations and account management. Gary opened the Fife, WA location in 2007, and during his time as General Manager in Fife was instrumental in the regional launch of the PentalQuartz product line as well as the development of the Utah and Idaho sales territories. Gary moved to Colorado in 2016 to build and manage the new Pental Surfaces Denver location. Under his leadership, the branch team shared incredible growth and success, quickly positioning Denver as one of the top producing branches in the nation.

Gary lives in Parker, Colorado with his wife Christine and three boys. They enjoy doing anything outdoors; family favorites are skiing, snowboarding, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.

Joyce joined Architectural Surfaces in 2017 as a sales manager for the northeast region and managed the highly successful build out of the PentalQuartz brand sales in that market. Joyce has over 20 years of management experience and is certified in Project Management. She’s been in the stone industry for 12 years, beginning on the fabrication side and has also worked for Masco cabinetry as a business analyst for their builder division.

Joyce lives in New Jersey with her three grown children and their family dog. In her free time she enjoys working out, dinner out, and vacations.
