Patrick DussingerChief Executive Officer
Patrick Dussinger has spent over 20 years working in and leading Building Materials businesses, including manufacturing, distribution, and installation companies. Patrick believes there are three crucial components to building and growing a successful business. First, he is passionate about assembling great teams and cultures – it all starts with having the right people on the team. Second, Patrick believes well defined and straight forward processes are critical to building long term, scalable success. Finally, having a limited but thorough set of well-defined and meaningful metrics to measure results ensures the ability to lead through all types of economic cycles.
Prior to joining Architectural Surfaces in July of 2020, Patrick served as the CEO of Southeastern Aluminum Products, and also spent five years at USI Building Solutions in multiple executive roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, and lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and son.
Satish KalalaChief Technology Officer
Satish has more than 20 years’ experience in driving rapid growth using technology. He previously served as Founder and Managing Partner of A5 Ventures, a growth advisory and tech ventures incubation firm. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President for Innovation for Simon Group Holdings where he was instrumental in creating several successful technology startups. He also worked with Deloitte Consulting where he provided M&A advisory services for several mega global deals.
Satish holds an M.B.A. in general management and corporate strategy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from SVU College of Engineering, in India. Satish lives in Dallas with his wife Sivaranjani and two boys. Outside of work, Satish is active in philanthropy through his KR Global Foundation and enjoys Michigan Wolverines football and basketball.
Dave BushlandChief Financial Officer
Dave is responsible for directing and overseeing the corporation’s financial activities, preparing current financial reports and summaries, and creating forecasts predicting future growth.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Benedictine College in Lisle, IL, a Master of Science in Finance from UW Madison, and an MBA from Wake Forest. He has approximately 30 years of Finance and Accounting experience. Dave’s career highlights include working for companies such as Grainger, Procter & Gamble, Limited Brands, Wal-Mart, and JC Penney’s, and he has been CFO at Golfsmith, Famous Footwear, NBG Home, and most recently, Hollander Sleep & Décor.
Outside of the office, Dave can be found reading, working out, exploring the outdoors, and watching live music. Dave has five children, three of whom played college football, including two at the D1 level. Dave’s daughter goes to the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin and is an aspiring singer/performer.
Jesse BoganVice President, Operations
Jesse has 15+ years of experience and has held various leadership roles during the different ownership structures of Architectural Surfaces. Currently focused on Operations with responsibilities that includes safety, facility management, process improvement, leases, equipment acquisition, cost management and M&A diligence. Previous management roles have included Regional VP, Sales Management, and Logistics.
Jesse has a BA and MAHS degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX. Jesse is married to his wife Deanna with two children. He enjoys being with family, outside playing sports, hunting, fishing, and exercising.
Andrew EvansVice President, Marketing
Andrew comes to Architectural Surfaces with 20+ years’ experience in product management. His most recent engagement was at Wilsonart International, a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of high pressure laminates, solid surface materials, quartz, and other decorative surfaces. Prior to Wilsonart, Andrew worked for Fortune Brands – Masterbrand Cabinets (KitchenCraft and Decora) where he had a series of successes in Product Management, Sales Operations, and Program Management.
Andrew is a graduate of University of Southern California with an MBA from Claremont University and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). Andrew lives in Leander, Texas with his wife and three children.
Lisa GouldVice President, Human Resources
Lisa originally joined Architectural Surfaces as a consultant with the former parent company and has since transitioned into the role of Vice President, Human Resources. Previously she led the human resources department at an insurance holding company in Austin, TX. Prior to that role, Lisa also held multiple HR leadership roles at a global construction and building materials company. She served in an HR leadership role for nearly 7 years before the company relocated her from Des Moines, IA, to Austin, TX. In that role, Lisa worked in a director capacity overseeing the HR function, streamlining, centralizing, and improving the HR efficiencies for a newly established region. She also has several years of experience working in mergers and acquisitions. She has a proven track record of developing and implementing HR programs, strategies, and processes that help drive the business strategy.
Lisa graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mercy University, obtaining the highest honors distinction of Summa Cum Laude. She later received her master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating as a Distinguished Scholar, a distinction granted to the student with the highest final GPA in their graduating program.
Lisa is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society of Human Resources Management, Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She holds additional certifications in negotiations and learning and development, including Gap Certified Negotiator, DISC Certified Facilitator, Leadership Architect Facilitator, Frontline Leadership Facilitator, VIA Edge Facilitator (Learning Agility), and Voices 360 Facilitator.
Lisa lives in Georgetown, TX, with her husband and two children. She and her family enjoy boating, hiking, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
Scott JarvisGeneral Counsel
Scott serves as Architectural Surfaces’ General Counsel responsible for the Company’s legal and compliance functions. Prior to joining Architectural Surfaces, Scott was an attorney at the international law firm of Alston & Bird, LLP where he advised and represented companies in litigation and commercial transactions across the country and internationally. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Berry College, cum laude, and graduated the University of Tennessee College of Law, magna cum laude.
Scott resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, and mountain biking.
D’Andre DavisVice President, Corporate Strategy, M&A
D’Andre comes to Architectural Surfaces from the former parent company, Select Interior Concepts, Inc., where he had been serving since 2018. His prior experience includes posts in management consulting in the turnaround/restructuring arena, investment banking, hospitality and automotive engineering.
D’Andre is a graduate of University of Michigan with BS in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Smyrna, GA with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, golf, fly-fishing and cycling.
Corey EricksonVice President, Special Projects
Corey is responsible for helping aid the M&A process, integration planning, and promoting commercial excellence. He obtained an Accounting and Finance degree from St. John’s University (MN), and has approximately ten years of finance, accounting, and process improvement experience. Corey has used his finance experience to help drive process improvements through internal relationship building and transparent KPI indicators across businesses in previous roles. He has also helped grow a building products sub-contractor through acquisitions.
Outside of the office, Corey enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Chelsea, have three children, ages seven, five, and four. In the winter, he enjoys watching basketball and is an avid ice fisherman. In the summers, he enjoys golf and being out on the lake.
Joyce BeshadaRegional Vice President, Eastern Region
Joyce joined Architectural Surfaces in 2017 as a sales manager for the northeast region and managed the highly successful build out of the PentalQuartz brand sales in that market. Joyce has over 20 years of management experience and is certified in Project Management. She’s been in the stone industry for 12 years, beginning on the fabrication side and has also worked for Masco cabinetry as a business analyst for their builder division.
Joyce lives in New Jersey with her three grown children and their family dog. In her free time she enjoys working out, dinner out, and vacations.
Gary ArneyRegional Vice President, Central Region
Gary has been with Architectural Surfaces since 2002. He started his career in the Pental Surfaces Seattle, WA location working in various departments and positions of increasing responsibility, including slab and tile warehouse operations and account management. Gary opened the Fife, WA location in 2007, and during his time as General Manager in Fife was instrumental in the regional launch of the PentalQuartz product line as well as the development of the Utah and Idaho sales territories. Gary moved to Colorado in 2016 to build and manage the new Pental Surfaces Denver location. Under his leadership, the branch team shared incredible growth and success, quickly positioning Denver as one of the top producing branches in the nation.
Gary lives in Parker, Colorado with his wife Christine and three boys. They enjoy doing anything outdoors; family favorites are skiing, snowboarding, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.
Greg BassettRegional Vice President, Western Region
Greg has been in the stone and tile industry for over 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility. Previously he established the southern CA branch of Pental Surfaces and was instrumental in growing sales of PentalQuartz in that market. Greg is tasked with overseeing the Western region of Architectural Surfaces.
On a personal note, Greg lives in Southern California with his wife and 16 year old son. In his spare time Greg enjoys both watching and playing hockey and golf, and spending time with his family.
