About Amazonite Cristallo

Amazonite Cristallo is a Brazilian quartzite with a striking mix of forest green, seafoam, and soft blue tones. Dark charcoal veins cut through the surface alongside threads of gold and occasional burgundy. Its crystalline makeup lets light pass through the stone, which is why designers frequently use it in backlit installations — the effect turns a countertop or wall panel into something closer to stained glass than rock.

Durability isn't an issue either. It scores a 7 on the Mohs scale, so it handles heat and scratches well. The green color itself comes from trace amounts of lead within the feldspar, a quirk tied to the stone's geological origins in South America.
