About Apollo

Apollo is a sophisticated natural quartzite quarried from the rich geological formations of Brazil. Distinguished by its warm beige to creamy ivory background, this stone features delicate, sweeping veining in soft grey and light gold tones. As a metamorphic rock, Apollo offers an elegant marble-like aesthetic while providing the superior durability, heat resistance, and hardness typically associated with granite. Interestingly, because true quartzite is composed almost entirely of cemented quartz grains, it is so strong that it will often fracture through the grains rather than around them.
