About Bianco Carrara

Bianco Carrara is the quintessential Italian marble, quarried from the Apuan Alps in Tuscany. Renowned for its soft white to light gray background and delicate, smoky gray veining, it has served as a cornerstone of art and architecture for over two thousand years. This metamorphic stone is celebrated for its fine grain and durability, making it a versatile choice for luxury countertops, flooring, and intricate mosaics. Notably, these quarries provided the raw material for Michelangelo’s David and the Pantheon. Interestingly, the mountains of Carrara are so white they are often mistaken for being snow-capped from a distance.
