About Brazilian Fossil

Brazilian Fossil is a captivating quartzite quarried in Brazil, also known as Tortuga Quartzite. It is celebrated for its dramatic and dynamic appearance, featuring a complex arrangement of patterns that resemble ancient fossils or hexagonal plant cell structures. While typically displaying a harmonious blend of earthy browns, greys, and blacks, certain variations can exhibit striking blue or greenish-grey hues. This metamorphic rock is exceptionally hard, rating a 7 on the Mohs scale, which provides superior resistance to heat, scratches, and stains. Its unique, watercolor-like aesthetic makes it a one-of-a-kind masterpiece for luxury countertops, flooring, and focal-point wall cladding.
