About Sahara Noir

Sahara Noir is a prestigious black marble quarried from the Jebel Aziz region in Tunisia. Known also as Black Aziza or Nero Dorato, it is celebrated for its deep, midnight-black background, which is actually composed of fossilized petroleum. This dramatic base is characterized by a unique, linear lattice of white and golden-orange calcite veins that often intersect at near-perpendicular angles, reminiscent of a Piet Mondrian painting. Because of its delicate crystalline structure, slabs are typically reinforced with resin to enhance durability. This stone is a premier choice for high-end interior features, including statement furniture, luxury flooring, and sophisticated wall cladding.
